The symbol of medicine is the vessel of Hygieia - the ancient Greek goddess of health in the form of a bowl, the leg of which is wrapped around the body of a snake The Cup has been used since 1796 not only to identify enterprises in the pharmaceutical industry, but also to reward the best specialists in the USA and Canada Thus, an award in the form of a bowl with a serpent is given to the best practicing pharmacists To receive the Hygieia Cup, the nominee must have a pharmaceutical education, have worked in the specialty for at least 2 years, and make a significant contribution to the development of the industry
